Altona Sports Lawn Bowls

Bowls is one of Victoria’s most accessible sports. All ages and gender welcome no matter what your experience. Bowls is a sport that can be enjoyed and played by absolutely everyone.Altona Sports Club Bowls includes the Club’s two bowling greens, synthetic and Turf. With several teams competing in various divisions more players are welcome to join.

We have Pennant Teams that play Tuesday & Saturday and social bowls every Friday. Our teams have an accredited coach. Membership is available at a reasonable price giving you access to great facilities and competitions.

Western Warriors Junior Squad

The Western Warriors junior lawn bowls squad registration day was held at the Altona Sports Club on Sunday 24 November. It was a very wet day so no bowls were played but it didn’t deter 12 eager kids from signing up and being fitted out with the new Western Warriors uniform. Lunch was provided by the Altona Sports Club as the major sponsors of the Western Warriors for the next 3 years.

There will be coaching available every Sunday morning between 10:00 and 12:00. The next Western Warriors gathering will be Thursday 9 Jan. If you missed out on the registration day you can sign up any Sunday morning at the Altona Sports Club.
