Melbourne Cup Calcutta Draw

Join us for the ultimate Melbourne Cup Calcutta on Monday 4 November.

Only 24 tables of six people available – one for each horse in the race.

On the night each table gets the opportunity to come up to the stage and pick a mini Melbourne Cup trophy. Under the trophy is a number. That number relates to a horse of the same number in the race. That table now owns that horse

Every table gets a horse then the auctions begin.. Starting with horse #1 through to #24 each horse is put up for auction.

Every table can buy the horse off the current owners. The current owners may also choose to buy the horse themselves (they only need to pay 50%).

Whatever amount the horse is sold for, 50% goes into the prize pool & 50% goes to the original owners of the horse.

• First wins 60% of pool
• Second wins 30%
• Third wins 10%
• The winners depend on which horses finish First, Second and Third in the race the following day

The prize pool last year (2023) was over $12,000 by the end of the night.  This is your chance to get involved in the fun and WIN BIG. Whether you’re backing the favourite or hoping for an underdog to win, this is one fun night you won’t want to miss. It’s a night filled with anticipation, excitement and maybe a little friendly competition.
